Payment & Returns Policy

This policy explains how wholesale payments are handled, when prices are fixed, how risk is transferred, and under which conditions returns or credits may be accepted.

Last updated: March 2026

1. Scope of this Policy

This Payment & Returns Policy applies to all wholesale orders placed with Tayfun Silver Wholesale via the online platform, email, or any other agreed communication channel. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Sales Agreement, and Shipping Policy.

2. Pricing, Currency & Quotations

  • All prices are wholesale and visible only to approved members of Tayfun Silver Wholesale.
  • Unless stated otherwise, prices are expressed in the platform’s selected base currency (e.g., USD, EUR, or TRY) and may be linked to silver, FX, and other input costs.
  • Quotations, draft carts, or pro forma invoices are valid only for the period indicated on the document or in the communication; after expiry, prices may be updated.
  • Final binding prices are fixed at the moment of confirmed payment, subject to the conditions stated in this policy and your pro forma invoice.

3. Payment Terms & Methods

Unless a different framework is agreed in writing, wholesale orders are processed on a prepayment basis.

  • Accepted payment methods may include international bank transfer and, where available, authorised card or gateway payments. Exact options will be confirmed on your pro forma invoice.
  • No production or dispatch will start before our finance team confirms receipt of cleared funds and matches the payment to your order reference.
  • Any bank charges, intermediary fees, or FX conversion costs on your side are your responsibility. The full amount stated on the pro forma invoice must arrive net to our account.
  • Where a partial prepayment or milestone payment scheme is agreed, the schedule and conditions will be set out in writing and prevail over the general rule above.

4. Order Confirmation, Changes & Cancellations

  • An order is considered confirmed once we have issued a pro forma invoice or order confirmation and your payment has been received and allocated.
  • After confirmation, changes to models, quantities, plating, gem colours, or sizes are subject to our approval, may affect lead times and pricing.
  • If you request a cancellation after production has started, Tayfun Silver Wholesale reserves the right to charge you for completed items, raw materials, and work in progress.
  • Any open balances or unpaid charges under cancelled or modified orders must be settled before new orders can be scheduled.

5. Production, Lead Times & Delays

  • Estimated production and dispatch times are shared in your pro forma invoice or order confirmation. These timelines are provided for informational purposes only and may vary depending on workload and order complexity.
  • In the event of unexpected delays (including force majeure, raw material supply constraints, technical issues, etc.), we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible and provide updated lead times.
  • Tayfun Silver Wholesale is not responsible for delays caused by missing approvals, late payments, incomplete delivery information, or design changes.

6. Risk Transfer & Shipping

The exact point at which risk passes from Tayfun Silver Wholesale to the buyer depends on the agreed Incoterms® and the logistics option selected. Please refer to our Shipping Policy and Delivery Terms for detailed conditions on:

  • Pickup and delivery arrangements,
  • Insurance limits and optional coverage,
  • Customs, duties, and taxes at destination.

7. Returns & Claims (Manufacturing Faults)

Wholesale orders are produced to order and are not intended for general returns. However, we stand behind our manufacturing quality and will review documented cases of proven fault.

  • On delivery, you must inspect cartons and contents within the inspection window defined in our Warranty & Returns Terms.
  • Any suspected manufacturing fault or packing error must be reported in writing within the specified notification period ( 72 hours after delivery, unless otherwise agreed).
  • Your claim should include the order number, item codes, quantities, clear photos or videos, and a short description of the issue.
  • We may request additional documentation or the physical return of samples for inspection before approving any credit, replacement, or corrective action.

8. Non-Returnable Items & Exclusions

Unless explicitly agreed in writing, the following are generally not eligible for return or credit:

  • Oxidation, surface changes, or colour shifts caused by chemicals, cosmetics, humidity, or storage conditions,
  • Minor variations in plating tone, gemstone shade, or handcrafted details within the acceptable tolerance standards for wholesale jewellery,
  • Unsold stock, over-ordering, or changes of mind after production,
  • Items produced according to your exclusive design, logo, private label, or OEM specifications, except in the case of a confirmed manufacturing fault.

9. Remedies, Credits & Refunds

If a manufacturing fault or packing error is confirmed, we may offer one or a combination of the following: replacement items, partial credit, or a discount against a future order.
  • The specific remedy will depend on the severity, quantity, shipment value, and practical feasibility of repair or replacement.
  • Direct cash refunds are exceptional and, where granted, will be processed via the original payment method wherever possible.
  • Any credit notes issued will detail the reference order, value, currency, and validity period.
